Mama Moni X Apa–Agatu Development Project – POS Distribution

In a major step toward strengthening women’s economic empowerment, Apochi Nelson Owoicho, in partnership with Mama Moni, launched an initiative to distribute 40 Point of Sale (POS) devices to women-owned businesses across Apa–Agatu.

This project specifically supports young female entrepreneurs aged 13 to 35, recognizing their essential role in local economic growth and community development. By equipping them with POS devices, the initiative helps bridge the gap between traditional business operations and the fast-evolving digital economy.

The distribution of these devices will not only simplify financial transactions but also expand market access, enhance business visibility, and improve financial management for these women.

This effort represents a meaningful investment in the future of women-owned enterprises, empowering young women to grow their businesses, increase their income, and contribute more significantly to the economic advancement of their communities.
When women thrive, communities prosper, and this initiative moves us one step closer to a more inclusive and economically vibrant Apa–Agatu.
