Apa–Agatu Film Screening

On March 9, 2024, we hosted a powerful film screening event under the leadership of Apochi Owoicho. The evening featured the inspiring movie “Pay It Forward,” which left a lasting impression on everyone in attendance.

“Pay It Forward” tells the story of a young boy determined to change the world through simple acts of kindness. The film highlights the profound impact of selflessness and shows how one good deed can spark a ripple effect of compassion and positivity throughout a community.

Following the screening, Apochi led a captivating and thought-provoking discussion on the film’s central themes. His reflections encouraged participants to examine the importance of empathy, generosity, and the transformative power of giving without expectation values deeply embedded in the storyline.

Under Apochi’s guidance, all participants engaged in interactive sessions and group discussions, exploring practical ways to apply the film’s lessons in their daily lives. Together, we generated concrete ideas on how to practice kindness, spread positivity, and make deliberate, meaningful contributions to our community.

Inspired by the young boy’s example in “Pay It Forward” and the insightful dialogue that followed, we reaffirm our commitment to fostering kindness, goodwill, and purposeful action across Apa–Agatu and beyond.
